ABOUT Claerwen
Claerwen is an artist and Mental Health Educator. She is passionate about using mindfulness and creativity as a tool to combat anxiety and increase creativity. She developed a mindful watercolour programme when working in Mental Health with people with chronic mental illness. The workshops were effective and loved by her participants. She discovered that using watercolour was a way to encourage playful, creative expression and a mindful 'flow zone' state. She developed techniques for overcoming anxiety around producing 'art' and increase creative confidence.
The mindful watercolour workshops are offered to anyone that would like to relax and enhance their creativity. They are relaxing and fun, requiring zero art skills.
Claerwen also has an art practice creating sculptures and is represented by Greenhouse Interiors. She studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in London in the early 2000s.
Claerwen has postgraduate qualifications in Psychology, Psychotherapy and Fine Art.
