Sorrento
After spending Christmas day with the Smallwoods in town, on Boxing Day we headed to the coast to see my folks. Rich's family headed down too and stayed at the guesthose next door. We have had a family fun filled action packed time. Today we were on our own again and enjoyed lazing around on the beach.
I was feeling good in my new Christmas bathers
Baxi sporting new bathers too
We met up with friends and the boys had a ball floating around.

Cruising
Little B has been getting steadier and steadier on his feet over the last month. Here are some recent shots of him proudly upright and walking. In the pic above note the swamped sandpit after a week of stormy summer weather.
Cute!
Look mum its exciting to take the fire truck with me as I walk!
Party II
The girls relaxing drinking champagne. Note busy birthday boy showing off his clever walking.
Mum did lots of preparation in the hope of sucessfully hosting lots of kids at home. A ball pit and ride on roller coaster was hired, the sandpit was themed with a dinosaur mountain zone and a dump truck digging zone, healthy but tasty homemade food was prepared, the house was sping cleaned, take home party bags packed, music selected, a chill out baby area in the playroom upstairs layed out etc etc. It was a hot thundery day but despite a shower moments berfore the guests arrived, thankfully the weather held out.
The air-conditioned upstairs baby room was popular in the 30 + degree heat
The party was a success and thankfully remained calm despite the big numbers of kids (mostly boys).
Winter loves everyting about parties and coped very well with the mayhem. He seems to enjoy the excitment of having lots of kids around and the next day asked to have all the people back again. Here he is wondering where the cake is.

Party!
We had a party at home for Baxter's 1st Birthday on Wednesday
Mum's lists not long before the guests arrived. Popular Baxi had 25 or so kids plus mums come to celebrate.
The highlight of the party was a big Happy Birthday sing-a-long when Granny Ros presented her spectacular home made cake. It was so exciting we did it 3 times! See video below for round 3 featuring proud mum doing a birthday jig and Winter commandeering the candle blowing.
