Oh dear!

We arranged for our new place to be empty for 10 days to get some essential maintenance done. The first job has been leveling the floors and re-stumping. We knew it was a big job and that there would be substantial damage to the plaster however we wern't prepared for the little scence below when we arrived to surey the damage.

We were greeted with a notice saying "Must wear hard hats before entry'

dangerous

what next?!

We are set to move in this friday and are reeling from the news that the plasterer we had booked in is too busy to do the job. Somehow however, we have found 3 plasterers who can come and give quotes tomorrow (we want a 'solid plasterer' which is apparantly a dying specialist skill making them hard to come by). In the meantime we are planning to camp in the 'safe' rooms and will be crossing our fingers that someone will be able to come and save us!

We also are co-ordinating a plumber, electrician, carpenter, insulation & air-con installation (on top of the flooring team) all in the next couple of weeks. I really hope Bongo stays put till his due date (4 weeks)!

Poser

I caught up with my friend Annabelle yesterday at the North Melbourne pool. She took a similar photo of me when I was pregnant with Winter (at the Bondi paddeling pool) which is why we decided to take this one in a simiar pose. I am planning on adding the original photo to this post when I find a way of getting it off our other computer. Stay tunned...

Lipstick

This is what I discovered after turning my back for a couple of mins the other morning. Turns out Revlon Red stains the skin and is really difficult to wipe off. Despite a packet of wipes and a soapy wash he still went to playgroup with a red face.
